Brukenthal National Museum Publishing House was founded in 2012, publishing volumes in the fields of activity specific to the Brukenthal National Museum - history and cultural studies, art and art history, natural sciences, heritage conservation and restoration.
The development directions of the Brukenthal National Museum Publishing House are:
 
- promoting museum collections, especially those of the Brukenthal National Museum
 
- encouraging scientific research by publishing doctoral theses, in the fields of activity of the publishing house
 
- publishing multidisciplinary research topics of importance for framing the Romanian specificity in a European context.
 
The publication plan is subject to the approval of the Scientific Council and a peer-review system based on the form available below.
