The exhibition brings together about 40 watercolours and drawings from the work of the some of the most important Romanian artist in the inter-war period: Theodor Pallady (1871-1956), Gheorghe Petraşcu (1972-1949), Ştefan Popescu (1872-1948), Iosif Iser (1881-1958), Nicolae Tonitza (1886-1940), Ştefan Dimitrescu (1886-1933), Jean Al. Steriadi (1880-1956), Cecilia Cuţescu Storck (1879-1969), Aurel Jiquidi (1896-1962), Max Arnold (1897-1946)
There will be on display exotic landscapes by Theodor Pallady or Max Arnold, Black Sea shores envisaged by Nicolae Tonitza, Ştefan Dimitrescu sand Iosif Iser, city views as seen by Aurel Jiquidi, as well as the sensual nudes by Gheorghe Petraşcu and Nicolae Tonitza.
