The Museum of Contemporary Art of the Brukenthal National Museum holds a valuable collection of paintings, sculptures and decorative arts signed by Hungarian artists from Romania, more than seventy works. A representative part of these works of art will be displayed within the exhibition Hungarian Artists from the Contemporary Art Collection of the Brukenthal National Museum, which will be open from November 10 to December 31, 2023. The exhibition opens the series of events of the 18th edition of the Ars Hungarica cultural festival, organised by the HÍD Association - Hungarian Cultural Centre in Sibiu. On the occasion of this exhibition, a catalogue with the same title will be published, which will put in scientific circulation and show to the public all the works made by Hungarian artists, from the 50s of the last century until today, held by the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sibiu. We mention the artists: Zoltán Andrásy, Péter Balogh, Zsolt Berszán, István Betuker, Mária Bodor, Miklós Borsos, József Fekete, Imre Gyenge, Ferenc Incze, Márton Izsák, András Kós, Imre Nagy, Ștefan Orth, Puskás Sándor, Dórián Szász, Jenő Szervátiusz, Robert Strebeli, Szabolcs Veres, Artúr Vetró and Csaba Zemlényi.
