Numerous pieces of worship, photographs, and other objects used by His Holiness Pope Francis during his visit to our country can be admired at the Brukenthal Palace in Sibiu. Pope Francis visited Romania from 31 May to 2 June 2019 at the invitation of the Romanian state authorities and the Catholic Church in Romania. During the three days, Pope Francis visited Bucharest, Iași and, Blaj, as well as the Marian sanctuary of Șumuleu - Ciuc. 
With the support of Dacia Automobile Romania, the Popemobile used during the itinerary in Șumuleu - Ciuc will be placed in the courtyard of the Brukenthal Palace.
