The exhibition from Gdansk which is on display at almost 100 years after the first old Turkish carpets exhibition from Budapest (1914) and after the exhibitions from Montreal (1976), Rome (2005), Berlin (2007), Sibiu and Istanbul (2007), presents for the first time to the Polish public Ottoman art values, kept in the Saxon evangelical churches from Transylvania. The carpets selection composes the most valuable pieces from the collections, dated in XVI-XVII centuries.
