On the occasion of Different Learning national school programme (7-11 April) Brukenthal National Museum comes in response to the numerous requests received from the teachers by opening all its exhibitions for visiting also on Monday 7th of April. The museum will be closed on 14th and 15th of April.
In addition, during Different Learning national school programme, Natural History Museum can be visited from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and it will be closed on 14th, 15th and 16th of April.
Brukenthal National Museum’s recommendations for this year edition are:
Brukenthal Palace, Temporary exhibition rooms, Exhibition Flowers of the Earth, part of an exhibition now with tradition at Brukenthal National Museum, Mineralia, organized between 9th and 13th of April. Crystals, precious jewelries, natural stones ornaments, rocks and minerals for collectors, can be admired in a prestigious exhibition dedicated to children, ladies and gentlemen.
Brukenthal Palace, Cartography, Exhibition BESTIARUM BRUKENTHALIUM. An incursion into the animal universe as reflected by rare book illustration, 16th – 18th c. Considering the fascinating animal representation as a starting point, the exhibition invites to a pleasant incursion in one of the most decisive chapter in the history of natural science and environment.
