On 26th of July 2015, Brukenthal National Museum celebrated 294 years since Baron Samuel von Brukenthal`s birth.  On this occasion a Baron`s bust was unveiled under the portal making the transition between the two inner courtyards. The bust was realized by the German artist Ernst Richard Boege in the interwar period, when he lived and worked in Romania for some time.
