In view of the bicentennial celebration of Brukenthal National Museum (2017) there are taking place in Brukenthal Palace, at the 1st floor, a series of long term rearrangement works, due to conclude in the next year’s summer.

These works imply, beside the wall painting, a new approach of the exhibition concept. The rearrangement process it's a step by step one through the partially closing of visiting circuit allowing the rest of the building to receive visitors. In compensation, the Museum offers free access to the exhibitions at the ground floor and the basement of Brukenthal Palace.
