Text offered by the curator: Brukenthal Museum`s arms and armours collection is one of the most important public collections of its kind in Romania and the largest in Transylvania. The exhibition aims to present some pieces belonging to this collection: blades (spears, halberds, and crossbows), firearms with primitive firing mechanisms (harquebuses and fuse rifles), shotguns and pistols with flint, together with pieces of military equipment, that complete the military spectrum.
