I have to thank to the Brukenthal National Museum’s management for this action. I do believe that it was utterly necessary for the awareness-raising in concern to the need for maintaining and restoring this heritage [Brukenthal Palace]. It is important that more people among the inhabitants of Sibiu to feel responsible for this heritage [Brukenthal Palace].
Our base for cooperation it is an agreement issued between the Romanian Ministry of Culture and the Evangelical Parish [of Sibiu], signed in 2005; it stipulates the coordinates and mentions that the Ministry of Culture will issue a Government Resolution on the structure and functions of Brukenthal National Museum, all the more so because this is an unprecedented case in Romania: an institution of culture having two proprietors – the Evangelical Church and the Romanian State through the Ministry of Culture. There is a need for a resolution to adjust this cooperation that we are willing to continue and consider possible as proved from 2005 since and shown in many successful projects.
