White Palace-Dark Story Campaign, presented at the European Castles Fair

  • 07.05.2015

In 1-3 of May 2015, Brukenthal National Museum participated at the European Castles Fair, organized at Corvin Castle in Hunedoara. Our participation concept was centred on White Palace-Dark Story Campaign, so visitors were offered information on the campaign, on the museum cultural agenda and the opportunity to sign the petition for Brukenthal Palace restoration. 822 persons signed our petition during the fair.

The main attraction of our stand was constituted by the presentation of the 2 costumes (Sophia and Samuel von Brukenthal) made and donated by the fashion designer Alexandru Nicolae. Brukenthal Palace stand was visited by the actor Mircea Diaconu, member of the European Parliament, and by Dacre Stocker, great-grandnephew of Irish author Bram Stoker. 20 exhibitors from Romania, Czech Republic, Spain, Hungary and Macedonia participated at this event.
