During April 22 – 23.2015, Brukenthal National Museum is hosting in Brukenthal Palace the first i-locate meeting for the present year. There will be participating representatives of the 24 project partners coming from 9 European countries. The meeting aims at correlating the software, technical and administrative elements for pilot institutions in respect to the application official launching in autumn 2015. The meeting is structured on two sections – a technical one in April 22 and an informative one in April 23. Brukenthal Museum will be the first museum in Romania that will introduce visitor guiding through a special application for smart phones. This application is named I-locate but is also called by the specialists in cultural management the ”Art GPS”. The application is planned to be available free of charge from September 2015 until the conclusion of the project.
