In 2021, it will be 10 years since the first large-scale preventive archaeological research, organized by the Brukenthal National Museum in Sibiu, Alba and Hunedoara counties.
The impressive discoveries, resulting from these researches, have contributed substantially to the progress of scientific considerations on the first sedentary communities that lived in Romania.
Among the objectives of the project are:
- interdisciplinary research of the discovered heritage, with emphasis on funerary discoveries, in the chronological framework (by radiocarbon analysis) and in the historical framework (by DNA analysis), for the first sedentary human communities in Transylvania
- a street exhibition and an online exhibition aiming at facilitating access to information
- short presentations and activity guide for children.
