On Friday, October 30, the culinary stage of the project took place, this time as part of a wide range of activities.
The military exercise of the day was followed by a visit to the documentary exhibition "Food will win the war" (which during 30.10 - 1.11 moved from the Grand Square of Sibiu to the Academy's headquarters).
The program included a demonstration on the use of a mobile campaign kitchen today.
The menu of the meal offered by the project included: chicken soup, pork steak with sauerkraut, apple pie, apple and Brukenthal biscuits, being co-financed by the National Cultural Fund Association and sponsored by Boromir and Amylon.
150 students and military personnel from the "Nicolae Bălcescu" Land Forces Academy in Sibiu participated.
Also present at the event were General Prof. Ghiță Bârsan, Rector of the Land Forces Academy, Mr. Marcel Constantin Luca, Vice President of the Sibiu County Council and Mr. Mircea Ureche, General Director of Amylon Sibiu.
On behalf of the Brukenthal National Museum, Dr. Raluca Teodorescu, Head of the History Museum Department and Dr. Alexandru Chituță, Head of the Education, Marketing and Communication Department participated.
The project catalogs and leaflets were distributed.
