In the years 2008 – 2009, the visitors of the Brukenthal Palace experienced its dynamic evolution due to further additions to the expositional space devoted to European art, through the opening of Prints Cabinet (2007), Cartography Cabinet (2007) and Plaster-Cast Copies Exhibition (2008).
Furthermore, the exhibition entitled Transylvanian Sculpture in Sone, 13th – 19th c. has being opened (2009), connecting the specificity of Transylvanian space to Central-European art and its opening to the single space of European culture in general.
