Beginning with the educational year 2008/2009 and continuing with the school year 2009/2010, the Brukenthal National Museum meets the process of learning developing in schools.
The educational programme entitled Discovering the Museum was meant to bring wholeness and completeness through the extra curricular information of domains like art history, history, natural history, general cultural orientation, delivered during the thematic guided tours for students.
Theoretical, practical and creational activities were added to the programme,
thematic projects and workshops meant to stimulate students to getting accustomed with the museal environment, to returning in its exhibitions for a deeper understanding of the information displayed by the galleries and the educational rooms which are opened in all main locations of the Museum.
