Brukenthal National Museum is announcing the event of the re-inauguration of the original bust of Emperor Franz I of Austria

The bust will be unveiled in the presence of Baron Norbert van Handel, Procurator of the Order of Saint George of House of Habsburg

The original bust of Franz I of Austria, made of lead, in Vienna, in 1828, by Franz Schopp, entered in the Museum’s collections in 2009. Until present it has been restored and relocated in the inner courtyard of Brukenthal Palace as a memento of emperor’s visit here while in Sibiu. The event consists in the re-inauguration of the bust in its newest location.
