Brukenthal National Museum hosts the launching of „Monarhiile Secolului XXI” [The monarchies of the 21st centuries] volume
book

On Saturday, June 22, 12.00 am, the European Art Gallery of Brukenthal Palace (2nd Floor), Brukenthal National Museum hosts the launching of „Monarhiile Secolului XXI” volume, a Curtea Veche Publishing production, signed by Sandra GătejeanuGheorghe – Protocol Director of Royal House and Ioan-Luca Vlad – Privat Honorific Counselor of Royal Familiy of Romania and co-author of "Jubileul Regelui” [King’s Jubilee] (Curtea Veche Publishing, 2012). 
The launching event will be attended by both authors.

When Europe was speaking French film (FR, EN subtitled) by Olivier Horn, after the book with the same title by Marc Fumaroli
Discussions with Mr. Robert Girolami, Associate Artistic Director of State Philharmonic in Sibiu and philosopher.
The event is part of the 2013 Sibiu French season, Brukenthal Museum enjoying and partners in organizing it the French Department in Sibiu and Ille-etVillane/Sibiu Association.

Brukenthal National Museum opens two exhibitions at Fine Arts Museum in Timişoara

From May 18, Brukenthal National Museum opens at Fine Arts Museum in Timişoara a exhibition entitled German and Austrian 17th – 19th c. Portraitists (curator Dr. Valentin Mureşan) that presents works by : Gottfried Auerbach, Peter Brandel, Johann Kupetzky, Martin Meytens, Christian Seybold, Johann Feuerlein etc, and a exhibition entitled Manifesto (curator Casandra Vidrighin), the outcome of a museum education project run by Brukenthal Museum together with "Gheorghe Lazăr” High School in Sibiu, which aims at illustrating teenager’s concept of contemporary art.
The openings of both exhibitions were part of Fine Arts Museum in Timişoara program for the Long Night of the Museums 2013.
